JMTC’s bifunctional alicyclic vinyl sulfone compound VSTCD is a vinyl sulfone compound containing an alicyclic tricyclic tricyclic decane skeleton and two sulfonic groups.

It can be used as a raw material for highly heat-resistant transparent plastics such as alicyclic polysulfone (PSF/PSU) and alicyclic polythioethersulfone (PES).

It is assumed that it can be used to give transparent resins such properties as high refractive index, high Abbe number, low moisture absorption, high heat resistance, and high Tg, or as a cross-linking agent.
