BPTE is a multifunctional epoxy compound containing a rigid biphenyl skeleton.

When mixed with epoxy resins, the composite is expected to have high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion (low CTE), and high heat resistance. In addition, BPTE is liquid at room temperature and has low viscosity and high solvent solubility, making it possible to reduce the viscosity of the composition and improve handling. Furthermore, the residual chlorine content is reduced due to the nature of the manufacturing process.
