D-Lactic Acid
JMTC Enzyme, a subsidiary of JMTC, produces D-lactic acid, a high optical purity D-lactic acid made from plant-derived raw materials using proprietary genetically modified yeast.
In addition to being used as a raw material for pharmaceutical and agricultural chemical intermediates, it can also be used as a monomer for the biodegradable resin PDLA (poly-D-lactic acid) by converting it to the dimeric form of D-lactide.
JMTC also manufactures and sells D-lactide(CAS:13076-17-0).
